ok could some one tell me what the Enigma books are for???

Sure. The Enigma books have Adornment recipes in them. Every crafting class, including Transmuters and Tinkerers, have adornment recipes, all different. All the components for Adornments are made by Transmuters by magically breaking down loot and other stuffs (for more informaiton on Transmuting, see The Transmuting FAQ). You can usually find them on the broker, but the bits for the best Adornments require rare components from Fabled stuff, so the price can be high.

Adornments are nifty things you add to your gear to enhance it with effects or stats. I'm still working on the Adornments in our database, but you can use the Advanced search for item type Adornment. I also recommend this guide.
