I use to play everquest 2 all the time i got to level 60 with my necro mancer after PoS and then i just kind of stopped playing because well i dont actually recall. Well now i am runnin a better computer then before and i was wonder how much has the game changed? And is it worth coming back now after all this time and playing a game i will not be able to devote as much time to as i did before? Has the game gotten better since i left or is it fizzling out. Please help and old necro and thanks your your Honesty :)

Best way is to re-activate your account for a month and see ;) I'm still enjoying the game. My server is still buzzing, plenty of people playing & reasonably easy to get a PUG when you need one.
If you were capped before, it might be worth getting the latest expansion pack which will raise your cap to 80, and best of all includes all expansion and adventure packs released to date. The game has changed recently to be a bit more solo/casual friendly, but there is still plenty of group & raid action.
It's certainly not fizzling out.
