Compared to armorer, I just don't know. I do know they seem to have fewer recipes than my Woodworker, making them a bit more time intensive to level (that's what writs are for).

Weaponsmiths also complain of a lack of salable products, but through T5 I haven't really had a problem.

Those are Adornments, which require parts from Transmuters. Yeah, they're kinda of a PITA. But the rest of your recipes use harvested stuff, lol.

I assume you mean Phantom Powder. They are all products of Transmuting, and made from dropped stuff by Transmuters. Check your local broker or ask in the Crafting channel.
