Why are there no buttons at the bottom of the workbench when transmuting. It fails constantly.

Because you have to buy those Arts from the Transmuting Trainer. There's six, they're like 10s each.

They were more than 10s ea. They were for lvl 5. I need to know what to do for 1-4 I scribed 1 and it comes up with hard recipes and no buttons. Which table should I be at and what should I look for?

Um, you might have bought the wrong things. The Arts are not blueprints, they're scribable immediately, and they'll be available when you do your tinkering combines.

I might have a picture around here somewhere...

So I have to do tinkering and transmuting?

Tinkering and Transmuting are mutually exclusive. You can do 1 or the other. The vendor in the area where you learn transmuting teaches the 6 skills you can use for counters. Back when I bought them, they had a graphic similar to the fragments you get from breaking down an item. I"m not sure if the graphics have changed since then.

Oh, no, sorry, I mistyped. Kid interference. But you do have to buy those six arts and scribe them to use them when transmuting.

You're just starting out? You'll get skillups just by transmuting stuff into parts, all the way to skill 100.

Remember, you have to scribe them as well as buy them... so if they're still in their inventory, right click, lol.
