Good morning, AllaK's - 1/14/08Follow

Good morning, happy campers.

Solopalooza continues! I still have not set foot inside of a group dungeon on Kunark. And I won't until every last non-repeatable quest in my journal says "Heroic" or "Epic". I'll be the n00b'ish'ist L80 SK in a Kunark dungeon. ;)

The only solo quest zone I have remaining is Jarsath Wastes. Knocked out all of the Danak quests they would give me (the final one you have to be 80 to receive) and finished off all the Skelross quests. Picked up a couple more heroic quests and went into skyfire to work on the Sel`nok faction of quests. Knocked out the first couple of those.

All said and done I moved up to 124AA and managed to ding to L78. *flex* Actually scored a PLATE equipment upgrade from one of the Skelross quests (most quest rewards have been cloth or leather it seems and the few plate pieces I did see from quests weren't upgrades). Also scored a couple upgrades that I will be able to where when I hit 79. Good times.

How was your weekend?

I've started to clear out more grey quests, spend some time in SoS and Temple of Scale for instance. But ended the evening camping the pirates in Nektulos Forest at the docks.

Yes, at 80 I'm camping a lvl 20 area Smiley: grin

It's not my fault, it's Sony's older book quests that are horribly done. I needed 30 Nerius Seers two years ago, down to 2 now and the book quest is done.

After that, I have one long and boring one left in the Obelisk.

The easy kills will help boost my death ratio again after dying a few times in the Skyfire Mountains, you'll be heading there soon Stugein, best be prepared! Not an easy place to fight. Cleared all quests there, apart from one, got full faction with the Danak and the Sel'Nok. Bought two items from the faction merchant, expensive and I've actually regretted the purchase almost at once, not entirely an upgrade, more a shift of focus.

Johnny the Silent and I went out last night with his 48 SK and hit Tower of Drafling. I lost count how many times I have been there, but its way up in the double digits and not once has the Queen been up. Well finally she was up, and with just the two of us, me being mentored, we took her down. It was something I've been wanting to do for years Smiley: grin He also dinged 49, then we went and killed 100 Nightbloods. It was relaxing and fun. Tonight I am taking off gaming and sitting down to finally watch the movie Startdust. I've been wanting to see that for ages, but alas, with kids, it's hard to get out.

The book was wonderful, I can't wait to see how they did on the movie!

Let's see. Baby threw up Friday, and it's been -25 to -40 all weekend. Yay.

I didn't do a lot in game, but I've been taking a stab at cleaning up all our collection quests. So far I'm through level 54 (any mistakes left in there are purely my oversight, lol). When I get through all the collections in our db I'll go searching for missing ones. Please leave comments if you see boo-boos!!
