Extra armour?Follow

Ok, advance warning that this might be a total newbie question! I was playing the other day and saw another character the same class as me, but a few (3) levels lower. I right clicked on her/him and selected "inspect" b/c I wanted to see how our characters compared. Well, I was very surprised to see how much better and stronger this character was compared to me even though it was a lvl 28 and I was a lvl 31. It was twice again as strong as me! Its health and power stats were also way higher than mine. Why would this be? Also, I noticed that it looked like this character was wearing 2 sets of armour. Is that possible? Can I double up on armour and items to make my character stronger?

Also, do not forget that it could also be better stats on equipment e.g. rings, belt, etc., adorments, potions, etc... Best way to verify is go to EQ2Player and check out what this toon is wearing and complare it to yours....

The most likely reason your 'buffed double' was different could be down to the way they have spent their aa points. Maybe you have been upgrading your spells on the second (now third) page with your points whereas he has been upgrading his stats on the first (now second) page. (Sorry, but first page is now taken by racial abilities & master II choices)
