I've been playing for about a month now with Vista and a dual core computer. Not a single problem, I just get a warning about my computer perhaps not being completely up to date everytime I log in but I just ignore it everytime.

So, not a problem at all.

I'm using a Duel Core processor, and I have no problem with the EQ2 Trial version.

Having a duel core shouldn't cause any problems. IT is just the game doesn't support it as in taking advantage of what it offers. You are right about being a pain to contact them. At least when you make a phone call they are forced to do more then send you canned answers telling you to update your drivers.
