Hello, is there any way to download the patch for the game with out owning the copy? I got unlucky and wasn't able to buy the game at the store today and tonight is the only night I can be on high speed (I really don't want to download it while I'm on my normal Dial up connection)

I have Trial account and have it fully updated and I'm buying the newest EQ2 with all the expansions, if there isn't a patch I can download manually, perhaps you'd know how big the file is going to be for me?

I am fairly sure you need a full account to download the full game. You need to log in to the patcher and if I'm not mistaken it looks at your account for what content you are flagged to have. I could be wrong though. You can download just the patcher and try to do a full file scan, but I'm not certain it would work.

You can download everything but Kunark with a trial account. Kunark files won't download unless your account has kunark enabled.

Thats very good to hear fronglo, would you know the size of the patch I'd have to download with it enabled? (A rough estimate)

"Kunark" is the expansion right? I plan to buy it tomorrow.
I'm worried about what I'll have to download after I install the game with all the expansion packs.

Not as much as you'd fear and more than you'd like... I haven't an estimate, I copied my Beta folder over.
