Good morning, happy campers!

Happy new year, folks! I hope everyone had a great holiday season and that the dings and pings were plentiful.

I continued my solo-quest tour of Kunark, moving through the first several quests of the Jarsath Wastes. Not too far in. I've essentially met all of the factions and begun my mad dash towards popularity with them. More than the other Kunark zones, this one seems oddly set up. I can't quite put my finger on it, but I am finding it difficult to get my bearings here. In the other zones the sokkokar posts are a convenience. In Jarsath they are an absolute necessity for me. I wouldn't be able to tell you how to get from point A to point B on foot.

Pinged up to AA #121 and dinged L77. Good times.

Got back from visiting the family for the holidays. An unhappy surprise when I returned - my gaming PC wont post. I haven't done any troubleshooting yet, but hopefully it is something easy and dumb.

Best Holiday Moment - Taking my father to FedEx field to be two of the 90,000+ fans on-hand to help my Redskins paste the Dallas Cowboys. 90,000 people all singing Hail to the Redskins at the same time after a touchdown against Dallas? It's like sex.

Uber Loot - Custom Sean Taylor jersey, a Series 3 Tivo (HD), and Guitar Hero III (Wii).

How was your holiday/evening/weekend/Chrismahanzakwanakuh?

Edit - Oh and for those who may not read it regularly, CAD Comics is doing an Everquest 2 story at the moment. Funny stuff. The arc starts HERE and moves foward from that. Enjoy!

I had an excellent night last night. I got my first T8 master drop, but not for my toon of course. But my guild is doing T8 master swaps where donating one will get you a credit for when a master for your class is donated by someone else. Since i'm a wizzy and their spells are WAY too expensive, i believe i will be getting the better end of this deal =)

I have been exclusivly soloing in Kunark. The xp from the quests is too good to pass up. Also been having fun tradeskilling and doing rush orders to get status for guild. We dinged guild lvl 70 this weekend!!!

I had found two rare loams and 3 other rares that i put on the broker and sold in less than 20 min for almost 10 plat, that was sweet.

Now i need to get some Adept IIIs made.

I've got a sick baby, so I'm running on short sleep. (I shouldn't say baby any more, he's 21 months!) I decided to defrag my hard drive last night, it was all the excitement I could handle, lol.

In the db I've been entering required guild levels for items, but wow, that's a long process to do right. I had to start a baby guild to see the guild level requirements, lol. I've hit city merchants in Qeynos and Gorowyn so far, 4 cities to go.... And I'm working on cleaning up our collection quests, I'm somewhere in the late 30's on those. Any input is appreciated!

Had a short burst of playtime so I hit 80 last weekend. I actually returned to the Kunzar Jungle to get the last 20% as I just couldn't handle the mobs at the Skyfire Mountains in the Wastes. Did about all the other quests there, so my faction is fair with most of them there.

Next step is ofcourse getting money and improving armour and spells. Master spells for Monks are non-existent on the broker or truly expensive so that'll take some time. Not many good armour parts to be bought either at the moment, but that too will improve. I hope Smiley: grin

Got Guitar Hero III for PS3 myself, finished the easy setting in about two evenings of play, but there's huge potential for replaying the songs for a long time yet. Definitely one of the better games on the console!

And that EQII bit by CaD is quite good, they did an EQ one years ago, when Ethan found himself "transported" in the game after hitting himself on the head, that was truly hilarious.

Abuj I'm so happy to see you back in game...took a break for a while, yes? Squibb mentioned it I think.

Glad to see that you're doing well and enjoying yourself. I often pop into the Foundation forums to sneak a peek at the comings and going of my hometown guild.

Please say hello to the gang for me.

Happy Holidays to everyone...well..ok..they're over and that sucks, but hey...always next year to look forward to! *cough*
