Status ReductionFollow

I am thinking of getting a new house, but I have a few questions regarding house upgrades as I have always lived at the inn.

Can you load up a house with enough furniture that you won't have to pay any status? Is that possible or does it cap out at a certain reduction?

Also, can you have a million sconces reducing your status payment or does that cap? That is, how many of a particular item can you have?

What furniture has the best status reduction for a reasonable price?

Thanks.

It is possible to max out the faction. I have done so in my Maj'Dul house. I gathered the rares and paid fuel costs to get some bookcases and rugs made, I also am ally with the city factions so i got paintings and furniture from those merchants.

Also some of the collection quests give rewards which have status reduction.

wanderingfreescholar, I hate to tell you this, but you didn't answer his questions.

in any case, here are the answers you wished to know Heightserz. Each house only has a limited number of space that you can use to put items in. to figure it out, you can put in 100 items per room. so, if you have a 2-room inn, you can put 200 items in the house. if you have one of the 5-room mansions, you can put in 500 items. but sor any particular item, there is no cap, just a cap on the total number of items you can have in your house.

as for the furniture that provides the best status reduction, that would be the rare furniture. there are some collection rewards that provide nice status reduction, but overall, the rares are the best way to go, but they can be pricey, depending on the tier and type.

Thank you very much for the info. I didn't even think about the 100 item limit. That changes everything. Thanks again :)

I was wondering about the other side of the "coin" (sorry couldn't resist the Pun). How or what items/quest are there that will reduce the Coin cost per week. It shows up on the house status window just below the "Rent Status Reduction" It says "Rent Coin Reduction". I have been searching the forums but nada.

The only thing I know about that reduces the cash rent is the four year veteran reward, Treasure Hoard

I have a question about a house item, i suppose this is the best place to ask.

Does anyone know where or how to get the wall mountable waterfall? I've seen them before and they are a really cool effect.

I think you are talking about the mystical mirror (I think that's what it is called). looks like an oval with a couple tangents coming off the top and bottom, with a water effect inside the oval? if so, we are talking abuot the same thing. it is a common carpenter crafted item.

This one? http://eq2.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?eq2item=24965

I've seen good decorators combine them with pools and other stuff until it looks like a waterfall.

My guild leader was actually able to get enough status reduction items to eliminate her payments on status. As for coin payment, she still had to pay that.

My main lives in Neriak, and I can't for the life of me find a house that is bigger then mine that even uses status. I have a 5 Room one that costs like 1.8PP to buy and 7G per week upkeep but no status.

Is it just other cities that have status houses? All the ones I see in Neriak that require status seem smaller then the one I have (at least list less rooms) How would a status 3 room house be better then a pure cash 3 room house?
