Good morning, happy campers!
I'm back from a long week of learnin' at an out-of-town conference all week. Thursday through yesterday. Tons of information, very little sleep. When I had a few spare moments here or there I engaged in some Me versus Computer Legends of Norrath scenarios. Fun stuff. If you haven't had a chance to really sit down with it, I highly recommend spending some quality time playing around. It's good fun. I spent a good while building decks and playing through all the various scenarios. I've made it all the way through the Closing the Rift scenario which I cannot beat for the life of me and, if anyone else here has passed it, I would love to get some hints on.

Didn't do much this weekend, busy messing with my new computer and trying to convince it to reinstall EQII. Eventually (and after finally starting as administrator) it all worked perfectly again. Hit 77 on Sunday and 78 yesterday. Got a bit tired of Kunzar Jungle (and highly irritated btw) so wrapping up grey quests all around Norath.
Went after Emperor Fyst in the Citadel in Zek. I almost died at the hands of that champion of his (he hits for about 2k damage, insane really with 38 lvls of difference) and I couldn't spawn him on my own. That alchemist kept charming me and thus breaking the encounter, a guildmember helped out and died the first time as I got charmed again and started to attack him. Fun was had by all! Worked a bit better the second time round, went up and killed Fyst without taking out the newly spawned guards around him. They didn't like it that I killed him so despite being grey and me FD'ing, they kept coming till I died.
But all that is unimportant as I did kill Fyst and finally finished the Green Hood HQ! Finally.

wheeee, I've been gone for awhile from here. Hope you guys are doing well! I've got my family moved and unpacked, and Im busy as hell, so I rarely have time to post but thought I would drop in and say hello.
I finally got Faiille to 80 the other day. Now Im going back and working on my dirge, Voyde. Went out questing in the jungle last night with a few friends, and generally had a good time.
I bought my fantasy house finally, in South Qeynos, and have been putzing around decorating. I still need to finish up some frostfell quests, and I am on a quest of my own, to see how many snowballs I can get. So far Ive got roughly 250. I want to have enough so I can throw snowballs often at each raid throughout the year.
By the way, did you know that having a snowball fight with your friends is soooo much more fun when you have invis???

I have been having a blast in game. Lots of interesting stuff to do...
Got my SK to lvl 80/123 AAs (Bloodletter rocks)...and am finally able to get in some alt action too :) Having a bit of a healer shortage (thank the heavens for alts)...so I'll be pushing my Inquisitor a bit asap.
Loving the new instances....Chelsith is a treat. Scored my Master group taunt, and a couple of wicked pieces this week as well. Slapped on some of the new adorns...really nice stuff. Also, for those who are going for the Spine of Skorpikis (Anaphalaxis), there is an alternate (and imo better) 2H off Marjora in Chelsith (117.6 rating...82 Str...4 melee Crit +regen + 200H/200P). It looks quite nice as well....interesting graphic. Was happy to nab it.
Shard Collectors is still growing, and we got a few nice new additions. Quite happy with things on the guild front. Our raid crew is leveling a bit slowly (and I'm ok with that)...so we are just geting ready to hit RoK zones this or the following Friday. We finally picked up a few of our "missing" classes. If only Defilers weren't a myth we would be almost set. Having a few Healer scrambles recently though overall (thank the heavens for Alts).
My other raid crew is doing pretty well so far too. Just making initial progress in RoK. Regular Tombs of Thuuga and Protectors Realm runs so far...hopefully our first Execution run this or next week. Still have a few underlevels in the crew to bring up, so that will be even better soon. Also, very happy with how the SK holds up so far. Every cap raise or expansion I get nervous hehe....nothing to fear lol. Did my first tank testing at 76 on Tariza, rough but still held up decently. At 78 things were better....at 79 and 80 in PR....nice :) So far so good.
Anyway, there's always more happening in-game....but that's a brief overview hehe.
RL has been incredible as well. I'm working on a start-up company as a voting partner (details to come in 2008)...and am becoming a partner in my current company as well. Shopping for a new car tonight....and getting out on the town a bit. All good things :)
