So, I've finally made it back into the game after years of leaving EQ(1) behind. This time I want to make sure that I am doing all the right things, including taking on a trade.
I know that there isn't a "best" trade for the Paladin, but I wanted get people's recommendations on what I should get my Pally working on. Any input is helpful.

You are always going to need food & drink, so provisioner is always a good choice
You are going to need lots of spell upgrades, so alchemist might be one to consider
It's always nice to slip into mastercrafted armour until you find some really good stuff
Dunno about your server, but weaponsmiths are 10 a penny on mine
You can never find a jeweller or wood worker when you need one, especially when you harvest a nice rare and think it would make a good necklace or bow
You will save yourself a lot of money if you can make whatever you need yourself.
