Hello All,

I've been having a great time with the expansion, abolutely loving it....exploring everywhere and working on my SK again too :)

Closing in on lvl 75/113 AAs, and I've actually been questing! I did about 39 quests in Kylong, 53 in Fens, 22 in Kunzar....and about 30 Writs to help push the guild close to lvl 62 now. My total quests done on this toon is about 515 in 3 years...sooo with almost 115+ done in the last few days. Insanity.

I am now sick to death of quests. I am dreading redoing quests on my Alts.

Sooo I decided to get back into the grouping/instance game again...and I am super impressed with the new zones I checked out.

Pushed through a large part of Chardrok last night....very very cool zone and a ton of fun.

Group was...Filmore SK Tank (74), Sordes Fury (73), Chompsky Wiz (74), Ewtain Assassin (73?), Moag Necro (74?), and Keay Paladin (73)

There are some areas that are quite bugged though....mobs aggroing, breaking encounter, re-aggroing, not resetting and deppoping.....even warping to their reset points lol. This was true particularly of the Ambushers that drop from the ceiling commando style.....their script actually bugged and they spawned a bunch of multiple encounters on top of each other. Once you figured out the bugged areas they were avoidable though thankfully.

One of named had a nice smackdown 360 style AOE too, another was a neat ring event with incredibly cool animations...fun fun. There were also some cool scripted sequences inside that made it really interesting (i.e. a non aggro Rhino trampling it's handlers....breaking free and attacking us was one of a few treats hehe).

I think once you get to the higher 70s this will be quite an easy zone. We were downing the 76^^^s without issue and handling adds......78^^^s were trouble if we got an add, though we did manage to down a couple non-linked when jumped a few times. Even the 79^^^s and 80^^^s were ok, as long as we didn't get adds.

We then went exploring in Jarsath Wastes....super nice zone over there with some wicked details in the environment (like a meteor path that cut right through a hill...including the slide/bounce path cut across the land, leading to the impact crater...really nice).

Headed into the Charissa (sp?): Maiden's Chamber instance afterwards. Loooved it, amazing little details/runes/hidden areas. Mobs were tough but very doable at our levels...probably having 2 healers would make it much simpler too. We did take out all the 80^^^s trash mobs (some of which look *very* cool), but the named were tough...and not only tough.....tricky. The aggro range on some of the wandering sperms is large (yes, that's right....giant sperm guard the crypt's hallways lol)

The first one Bli-uthu (sp?) of The Old Ways, the Crypt Feaster was an 81^^^. He was not too bad and were taking him down....but he teleports the group below his resting place and lets off a huge knockback (putting people out of range of each other occasionally)....and into a slew of Adds (looked like 1 linked group of about 5 80^s....like in the halls above). It appears that AOE blocks might negate it (at least once)......but it also appears that he *might* be doing it around each 25% mark. This might seem trivialized as we level....but with a group of 73-74s.....and probably for a few more levels....quite the surprising/destructive tactic he pulls lol. We tried him a few times, trying to find areas where we wouldn't get knocked as much, eventually we skipped him and trained through to the next. He was all Crushing and piercing CAs...not too hard of a hitter.

We only gave the second named 2 shots....but wow, does he ever look awesome too....like the Juggernaut with glowing green eyes....and he hits hard melee. Not much info on him yet (The Giant Gear room named or some such lol)....but he was 82^^^. We lasted a few seconds on the first one....but some back to back heavy hits ended things rather promptly afterwards

Can't wait to run these again. The loot tables showed quite a few treasured off those named....but some rather nice Legendary as well (from what has been reported so far anyway).

The more I explore, the more I'm enjoying it. The Adept III upgrading is killing me...but aside from that I'm in heaven :)

P.S. If you haven't checked out the Faction rewards in some of the locations (like Jinsrink (sp?) in Kunzar.....there are some very nice purchaseable items from the faction merchants there. 1 example being a two handed staff that was quite nice for mages....around....25 STR, 30 STA, 72 INT....100 Health/225 Power...+4 spell Crit and ~65 Spell dammage with a ~82ish DR......for 40000faction with them + around 4plat 75 gold. Sweetness :)

Grrr....everytime I try to correct the Subject to read the 23rd (instead of the 32cond...typo), it tells me the site detects a duplicate post and won't allow the Edit.

Can a Mod please correct that?. Thanks :)

I've been concentrating on quests myself, almost reached 2000 in total now. I've done about 77 in Kylong plains alone, which would make it about all there I believe. Finally did find the three bugs in the hives so now my faction with Teren's Gasp is at 50.000, which is handy.

Also did the language quest in Kylong, to learn Sarithian (I think anyway, it's available after you finish the little green book collection there, 8 pages that are always up btw, after you get the reward, inspect it and you'll be sent to an emissary near the Gasp, one quest later the language is learned), going to go in the Ferns and do the language collection quest there too tomorrow.

Started a Sarnak Berserker, the same as in Beta, but I might actually stick with this char. Might. Got him to lvl 8 in about one hour, but the true test comes at around lvl 20, as always.

I went into the Fens and did a lot of exploring just for fun. Then killed a lot of Drachnid trying to get some L & L updates.

Found a lot of shinies while exploring and discovered i had the rare items for 2 collection quests, so 33 copper later i was able to hand in 2 quests.

Now on my second tradeskill writ and just about to hit 73 sage. Once i have that i may go back out and kill the Drachnids again.
