I'm looking to buy a laptop to run EQ2 while i'm at work. Do any of you know of any good laptops within the price range of up to $400.00 that will run EQ2.

Your best bet would be something used. There are no new laptops in the $400 range that have real video cards (GPUs). They are all shared (crap) graphics. While it will RUN EQ2, it won't look good and performance will not be ideal.

Look for something in the realm of one year old. The best way to figure out if it has a discreet GPU is to see if the word "Shared" shows up next to the RAM or the graphics card. Anything with an "Intel Extreme Graphics" or ATI 11xx series are no good. Feel free to post any links and I'll try to help you decide.
