i cant get EQ2 to run anymore, it started lagging and randomly closing when RoK was released (i havent got it yet though) and then yesterday it stopped responding and now it wont start up again, ive tried rebooting and all that stuff, but it stops doing anything at the Scanning for updates box :(

I need it to work or i may have to cry, or something. Maybe not, but i will be most distressed.

any ideas?

Are you running Vista? Do you have a firewall?

not on vista, im not stupid lol, but i do have a firewall.
