Stuck on Bristlebane quest seriesFollow

#1 Nov 20 2007 at 9:54 AM Rating: Decent
Hi guys, I wonder whether anybody can help me.

My lvl69 Troubadour is trying to progress the quests for Bristlebane. The quest giver is on the docks in the Enchanted Lands and I've completed the first quest with the spicey pie already and received my altar. I've sacrificed some stuff on the alter, I've even bought my first miracle (not used it yet though).

I've been back to the quest giver several times and all he does is tell me what a great prank the pie was and come back later for another trick. This was about a month ago, and I've been back several times and keep getting the same message. Is there something I have to do before he'll give me the next quest?

I'm really looking forward to getting my pet and my cloak, but just can't get the next quest! It's very frustrating!

Any help would be much appreciated.

I know with the Sol ro quests you must be a certain level to start the next step. However if your 69 and only completed the first step you should really be good to go for the next. You might look the quest up and make sure the next part isn't started by another npc? It isn't possible you actually started this quest all ready and that its lost in your journal somewhere?

Bristlebane quest guide here on Ten Ton Hammer

Garby gives first 2 quests: Trial by Pie & Prank'd
Tobel Patadash gives 3rd quest: Coin Job

Are you after the 3rd quest which has a different starter NPC?

Got it!

Needed to speak to Garby instead of Tobel. I just assumed all the quests would be from the same guy - don't I feel a plank!! Thanks for the help and the guide from Ten Ton Hammer.

I'm currently on the third quest, trying to sneak around the goblin hide out, but it's really hard to not get spotted and chucked out! I'm enjoying these quests though, even if they are still grey!

Thanks again!
