About to start trial and maybe buy the game but i am confused about paladins role in game. Are they more of a DPS, healer, or tank? I do not like healing but a dps/tanking role is cool with me if theres less tanking and more damage dealing.
If you are interested in a damage dealing tank, the brawler classes are for you. Pally's arguably have the lowest dps of all the tanks.
If you want to do some damage and wear plate armor, i would recommend a Shadowknight or a Berzerker. Both can be speced to be great tanks or great dps.

Paladins are Tanks. They can be specc'd to do more DPS (and their AOE DPS is decent)...but it will not compare to a "true" DPS class.
