Dirge for groupingFollow

I had been playing a Guardian alt, but found it less tough and survivable than the necro. So I tried every class up to level 5, which may well not be a fair test of their distinctiveness. I had high hopes for the SK, but didn't see much difference between the crusader and guardian classes at early levels. They still weren't as tough as the necro, in my experience. I was blown away by the warden and the dirge, both amazing classes To me the warden outpriests a priest, which I found to be a huge power hog of a class. As a priest, I was always waiting for power to cast heal. Very dangerous. The wardens power conservation was better than any other caster, although their dps might be lower. The dirge played very similar to the rogue classes, and the buffs were better than the assassin in my view. So I ultimately chose the dirge and am loving it. Only been killed once I think because I was fighting 5 at once and totally forgot to look at levels. Very strong fighter. Anyway, the point of this rant is that I chose the Dirge without any consideration to its attractiveness when grouping. Although I exclusively play solo, I do a ton of writs for the guild and am committed to guild success. At higher levels, I may be called on to participate in raids and other grouping. Are dirges sought after for groups and how should they be played when grouping. Thanks.
