Hi, I'm considering signing up for Everquest 2 and I've looked over a bit of this site and some others. One of the things that apeals to me about the game is crafting. I have a question regarding what essences made by alchemists do.

I looked through the recipe list on the everquest crafter site for both jewlers and alchemists. The recipies for alchemists for example have a great deal of things called "essence of (skill)". Does an "essence of (skill)" allow someone to use the skill, does it boost the skill when it is performed by a character? What does it do? I believe that jewlers made runes which struck me as similar, are they

Also what does attuneable mean?

Essence of (skill) are fighter spells/combat arts :)

Alchemists make Fighter spells and combat arts, poisons (used by most scouts) and potions (usable by everyone).

Jewelers make jewelery and Scout Runes (spells and combat arts).

Attunable means that an item must be attuned to you before using, and once it is you cannot trade it to anyone else.
