Good morning, happy campers.

I've been kind of slacking on the good morning posts recently. Fortunately dschultz and Spyder have been here to take up for my lazy ***. I've started taking college courses two nights a week so thats two less free evenings I have for gaming. On top of that I've got so many games right now demanding my attention that its rough to find time to sit down for quality EQ2 time. Most nights, like last night I do nothing more than log in to check the broker, maybe solo a writ or two then punch out for the night. I'll try to squeeze more time in. I promise.

Last night Bionic Woman was on, so I watched that with the wife. Neat story, decent supporting cast. The show would have the potential to be really good if the main actress didn't have the emotional range of a lima bean. Acting lessons ftw. To be fair, she emotes "confused" very well.

Rocked out on TF2 for some time. Got my rear-end trashed in Guilty Gear. Then I sat down and finally beat Portal. Without exaggeration, game of the year so far imo. It's clever, fun, and features some of the best writing I've seen in a video game in years. Some might complain about it's length (you can beat it in a couple of hours), I think it's the perfect length for what it is and is a wholly complete product. A side note about game length - If the game is a well made, complete experience, it matters little if it lasts one hour or is a 30+ hour behemoth. I keep hearing, "Portal was great but too short". Video gaming is the only entertainment industry I seem to hear such things in. Nobody ever goes, "Wow. Godfather was a really sweet film, but I wish it was 40 hours long". Portal does everything right and it does it in a compacy package that keeps it from getting stale by the end. If you have the means, acquire and play this game. Must.

How was your evening?

sorry Ive been MIA. One week before we move so things are starting to get hectic.

Raided MMIS last night. As I do almost every raid there I accidentally hit Dragon breath and wiped us. I laughed my butt off for about 20 minutes after the GL typed very resignedly that I should probably take that off my hot bar in there.Smiley: laugh
Havent done Mayong yet, but we own everywhere else.

Logged on for about an hour, finished three quests in Loping Plains, dinged 65 with 43 AA, made about 50 gold and no deaths (which is unusual for me LOL). I watched Bionic woman also, was good (for what it is - mindless entertainment), then watched Life after also interesting show.

I'm sure I did something else, but for the life of me, I can't recall. I hate being sick. and I'm gonna be so happy when I finally get adjusted to my new work schedule working graveyard shift.
