The Echoes of Faydwer package is the game with all the latest expansions, so if I were to be enetertaining the thought of buying it that would be the one to get. Correct?

Would that include the full game though? Or is that just the next expansion?

how soon are you entertaining in your head that you might check out the game? And EOF should have everything minus adventure packs, which you dont really need but are fun.

Well, to get the L&L Vampire I heard you do need one adventure pack.

The EoF retail pack does include all expansions, not the digital download from Sony though, so best beware!

It's safe to assume that the new expansion will indeed include all previous ones too though, but that's still over one month away.

Tough decision I must say.

Probably next week, week after at the latest. I have a test to finish first before I can let myself get distracted.

OK, I wasn't going to assume that as with EQ1 the expansions didn't include the full game to my knowledge. You usually were required to have the original installed, or at least the latest combo pack to install the expansion. At least I thought that was the case, it never came up as I always loaded the original software first.

Thanks for the info, I'll check out the local stores for EoF this weekend.

It has been answered but EoF box that you would see in stores has the original game + all expansion to date. You can also pick it up off of Direct 2 Drive. All in one. Also roll on Blackburrow, DSD, Tare, Nadenu, Smoggy etc are there.

Also to hell with all the Asylumites who are going to EQII. You just had to do it now that I leveled my Draenei paladin to 70 and I am in a guild progressing through t5 content.

I hate joo all.

I'm guessing also that running this on Vista isn't really recommended? I've tried playing a couple other games on Vista, and get regular crashes (NWN2, Oblivion)

Ive played with Vista and while it hated my computer I did not have any crashes. however, other guildies have had crash issues with it. So just keep it in mind.

I was so burnt out on WoW. I was in a raiding guild also, and it was starting to feel like a chore. I had forgotten how much fun EQ2 is. Having a lot of fun so far! Come play with us, bhodi!

How far did you get into wow raiding Nadenu? I have to say I am really enjoying myself in WoW right now. Really really really enjoying myself but that is mainly due to the fact that I get to play with my brother who lives a couple hours away, as well as a number of people from highschool.

As for coming back, well I would love to though it wouldnt involve me raiding, I was kind of waiting for the expansion so I could level and get into 5 man content and not have to play catch up. Also like I said money making was a definite concern for me. I'd like to be able to log on for a bit and farm some stuff I could sell for a profit. I hate random groupage hoping to get lucky for drops.

I am down in the hometown right now for (Canadian) Thanksgiving so I wouldn't be firing up my account until Monday at the earliest but who knows, I really enjoyed playing with Bane so I have to admit I am very very tempted to fire it back up.

You haven't played the game, untill you tried out the Unrest instance!

It's a nice one actually, very testing and bloody hard.

Recently started on the one group instances at lvl 70, apart from Den of Devourer, they are quite fun really.

Our guild wasn't as far as yours, bhodi (I'm on a RP server after all). We haven't killed Gruul yet. (but his ogres buddies in the front of the instance are on farm.) But we were wearing out Kara. Like, 5 - 6 nights a week, and I was there for almost every run. My own fault I guess, none of the raids are mandatory. But it wasn't just the end game - I was just plain ole burnt out on WoW. EQ2 is a great change of pace. A lot has changed since I played last year. I see me sticking around for a while.

EQ2 was definitely a breathe of fresh air after WoW. I had leveled two toons to 60 and gotten my dungeon gear but never broken into raiding. Came to EQ2 leveled up had fun got to 70 and enjoyed myself.

Great to have a guild of people like Bane though, amazing group of people. The raiding guild I am in WoW right now is progressing nicely, taking out about 1 new boss a week, not hitting too many hurdles. There is still that immaturity aspect by some of the raiders that annoys me. While there are kiddies on EQ2 there arent as many and Bane is straight up solid.
