Troubador's DPSFollow

I know that the bard's are bottom of the barrel conserning scout DPS.
In a small group will the troubador's DPS still be able to fill the role of the DPS class in the group. Considring the group is made up of just the bard, a tank and a healer.

I know brawlers are DPS tanks, and Druids are the DPS priest, but will AA setup make a considerable difference in the Bards DPS, and would still be able to out DPS a brawler/druid? thanks.
