Hi all
Most days on the home page of this site, I see new items for EQ2. Are these items new from SOE or are they just being discovered? I just find it odd that not all items have been discovered after 2 years of being open

They're new stuff we've added to the database.
Unlike EQ2 and WoW we've no way to "automatically" acquire information for the database. Every item has to be gotten in game by hand.
And with so many changes (like GU 24 and the total reitemization of most items in the game) we sometimes seem to be re-covering old ground.
So "New" in our updates means "New to our database"
