Good morning, AllaK's - 9/24/07Follow

Good morning, happy campers.

Friday night I logged into my baby bruiser for some relaxing solo lovin'. Ran through a good chunk of the early Nektulos solo line. Got a few decent pieces of gear and an AA. Dinged once (I was close already).

Cut over to my assassin. I find myself playing this character less and less. It's fun to a point, but maybe it's the tank in me...I feel like it is too "hands-off". I'm wailing away with the damage when it dawns on me that the group really doesn't /need/ me. Sure I make things go a little faster, but the group could survive without my presence. I think I'm too used to tanking...being the hinge which keeps the group swinging smoothly. I'll stick with it for awhile though. I like the character's name too much to delete it and at worst I'll keep it around for it's level so that guildies have a toon of that tier to mentor to for quest turn-ins.

Packed up the family and headed back home to watch the 'skins game. Good times (even though we forgot how to play football in the second half).

How was your weekend?

Rather productive weekend. Not much done on Saturday, had to work, but our guild went at it on Sunday.

First cleared the Accadechism, easy enough instance for a group of four lvl 70's. Only died once, slight miscalculation that led us to face about 10 opponents instead of the hoped for 3. Still, no more messes after that one, even D'Vinn couldn't do a thing, even his annoying cloning didn't do much.

Not much loot in there though, very short instance too.

Then we went into Unrest later on, with an extra lvl 70 monk. After our first encounter with the entrance "trash", we almost did leave for Kaladim, but luckily we tried it again and facing them one at a time, they weren't a problem. Went through the hedges with only dying once to get both key parts. Then headed to the gazebo, talked to the ghost (and getting a new AA point, 67 so far), cleared the right side, including the named for the Marr quest, went to the GY and died again there too when that lousy ghoul wanted to join in the fun quite unexpectedly. Anyway, we managed to clear the entire yard and go in the house. After that, took us 2 hours, we did stop.

Quickly finished up the Marr quest so I now also have the cloak of valor. Very fun thing to have, the dps and str boost helps out quite nicely.

work has been kicking my butt recently. I haven't been able to play recently because I've been too worn out.

But overall, I have to say that I did alright this weekend. created a wood-elf mystic on LDL and completed all the adventure yard quests and got up to level 13, and level 10 craftsman. not too bad for only a day or 2 of playing.

Spent most of the time over the weekend work in Eve. However, I have this lil necro I had been working on and he is now 20. I had to send hims some gold to get some decent spells, I was being resisted a lot while working on a few quests in Butcherblock.

Started crafting with him last night, looking for and advanced craftmen level 7 book, if anyone wants to get rid of one I'll be happy to take it off your hands.

Other then that quiet weekend.

Had a good weekend, finally got my update for Musing on Beauty, I still think there's some kind of bug. Dinged two levels on my fury and 2 aa joining a group in runnyeye. Played quite a bit in steamfont and Klakanon with my assassin and a guildee. Tried to do Training is a Shield hq for some guild members, for some reason the alchemist in DFC kept wiping us. but lots of fun this weekend.

I had a wonderful weekend. We took the kids to a big fair in our area Sat and spent the night in Boston by the wharf, so no playing then. Sunday we went on a whale watch, me being the only one in our family to have prviously done this. We saw a good amount of minkie whales and about 4-5 humpbacks. They're beautiful to see in their natural enviorment.

Sunday night hubby and I logged on and got back to leveling our mystic/dirge alts. We dinged to 54. Our luck continues with getting an exquisite chest droppin goff trash mobs. For some odd reason whenever we bring these two out, we get a minimum of 1 exquisite chest drop, and it's almost always off trash mobs. Last night didnt fail us.

My time for playing is going to start waning. Already we've begun packing for our move so it probably wont be until at least mid november that Im back to my normal playing every night gig. Good for gathering up rested xp though Smiley: grin

I finally figured out how to make jewelery on my jewelerXD

So, I spent the morning cranking out pristine T2 jewelery and sticking it on the broker.

<Insert boring day at work in training>

Came home and hit the 18 pack in my fridge like a new bride in a trailer park and harvested on my alt until he finally hit 140 in all his harvesting skills so he could go clean out EL in one swipe.

Flirted shamelessly with WinWin in IRC until I got the server down message in game and then went to pass out.
