Good morning, happy campers.

Since a complete wipe and reinstall was involved in the process of getting myself back up and running, I spent a good chunk of Saturday futzing around with my UI, getting it all set back up the way I like it for all my toons. Because I had to switch around for this it became THE ALT REVOLVING DOOR WEEKEND!

Baby bruiser - If it wasn't for the name I would delete this toon. Setup the UI and quickly punched out.

Baby fury - Set up the UI and ran about the Commonlands. Finished off some crossroads quests which was enough to ding once.

Baby assassin - Scored an AA off of a collection to turn in. Bought a haircut and spent some time re-imagining the look for this toon.

Baby defiler - Healed for a short-lived instance group. Made some profit off of some foodstuffs I had baked up earlier in the week.

Coercer - Scored an AA for finishing some quests in my journal. This let me put my 4th in the WIS line Magic Resistance. One step closer to Dreamweaver. Good times.

Main (SK of course) - Lent my services to the lowbies of the world. Decided that I really want to knock off the last few AA I need to 100 before RoK. Trolled the lowbie channels and traded my mentored tanking services for quest sharing. Was successful in getting an AA or two. Also scored a ton of low level shinies for distribution amongst my alts. Good times.

How was your weekend?

Had a good weekend, lots of guildees on and added one new member, have to say dont care much for soe nerfing guild status turnin items, but had guild members knocking out writs. Did have one problem and I submitted a bug but didnt get a response, was doing the "musing on beauty" quest update in sinking sands and the update would appear in my chat box but my journal would never update nor did I recieve the reward item for finishing the quest. Any ideas?
Dinged a level here and there and added a few AA's so was a very good weekend.

well, lets see, where to begin. got everything ready so I can transfer some of my toons to Lucan D'Lere server. got a couple new toons created on Lucan, and got them leveled pretty good. finally got my zerker to 20 provisioner (been slacking on that). my necro is now a 20 sage. and just have to get my wizzie to 20 tailor and I will be happy. still have 3 slots left to fill, just haven't decided how I'm gonna fill them. overall, not a bad weekend.

Cleared Den of the Devourer with my guildmates, the four of us are getting the hang of things as we only died once (never even knew there were invis books in there till our healer died from one) but we did mess up by going directly to the Devourer and not taking down the named mobs in order.

A long zone to complete, despite the small size, they all respawn rather quickly.

Got my 65th AP, now got two final line spells. Got the 100% certain FD for one group member spell, should come in handy!

Also begun the speak like a dragon quest. Couldn't quite make it to kill the epic in Maiden's Gulch on my own, but three of us got through him quickly enough. Very long run to Nagafen though, got lost again in Solusek lvl 7, darn confusing!

Just got a few updates on that quest, going to take some hours to get them all.

I was challenged by a crafting colleague to level up a crafter to 30-ish and not have her skill well below her cap. It's part of an ongoing discussion on the Official crafting forums between the "skillups are broken" camp and the "learn to use your Arts" camp.

Thus far she's almost 20 and her chosen profession's skill is only one point below her cap...

Other than that I just spent the weekend with a very sick family. I'm actually keeping Kiddo home from preschool today, nasty yukky cold. *I'm* better, but not getting much done (or much sleep) with two sick kids.

Hrm. I'm surprised that's an issue for people. I'd never even considered it. I mean, yeah the first handful of levels fly by faster than your skills increase, but it isn't long before you can catch them up through normal crafting.

It apparently is, we get about 4 posts a week on it on the Official Forums. But I ran through T1 doing the Seeking a Profession quest and just did a tailoring combine every time I needed an extra combine to ding, and had no problem keeping my skill up (proof is in the picture!)

The issue is that learning to use your arts can be a real problem for people. There's really nothing in the game that addresses it atm, although Domino is working on it. If you know how to use your arts from the get-go you're fine. If you're a new player you might only manage to keep your skills up by pure luck until someone teaches you to use your Arts proactively and that you get new ones every Tier.

I had a great night :)

Pulled a Bonesnapper raid together since I had a bit of time....went well, and I won a super nice 1 hand staff....which I deferred to a guildie. Incredibly nice graphic on it(scintillating hues on both ends of a bladed 1H baton)...Hardshell Baton or something like that, 210 heal proc (1.8/M) and a nice 75+ DR on it.

Then spent a bit of time running around gettting SoS Statues....still need about half or a little more than that :(

Ended my night tanking Inner Sanctum. We ran out of time after clearing everything except Mayong though. Didn't have time to take a shot at him. Next time. :)

Had a nice chat with a new server transfer afterwards in East FP....then called it a night.
