Hey guys, recently my friend decided to quit EQ II and asked me if i wanted his account. I said i'd try it. He has a 45 Warden as the highest guy and i'm looking for pointers. How to grind, how to group, how to do everything haha. Anyone that can help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Speaking as a level capped warden, my recommendation would be that you NOT play the lvl 45 character until such time as you have a better understanding of the strengths and weakness' of the class.

The best way to achieve this understanding would be to roll up a brand new "baby warden" and play it from lvl 1 into the mid/late 20's. At this point you will have the basic skills needed to play the lvl 45 warden without too much difficulty.

This ain't WoW and nobody in this game has any respect for "E-Bay gamers". (yeah, I know - you didn't actually BUY the toon - you inherited it!) In any event, driving around on a toon you did not level will only earn you a bad reputation so do yourself a favor and learn on a low level toon before you ruin that character's good name!

Gonna have to agree on this point. As another level capped Warden my advise is to roll a new toon. This class has some vary interesting traits, and they take some getting used to. In the right hands, Wardens are capable of almost anything.

Again though, as it was pointed out earlier this is NOT WOW. I have played both and left WOW in disgust as a toon on WOW takes about 5 min to master and then you are just left with gear. Here you will have spell choices, aa lines dependent on gear choices, and more then a little bit of player savvy. While you may survive on this inherited toon, you will never excel. Given that leveling to a low number such as 45 is pretty quick, I see no reason not to reroll. As that was your friend's highest toon I doubt he had much of value on it anyways.

And yes, EQ hates ebayers and inherited toons. Roll your own and enjoy the game as it was meant to be enjoyed. Besides, the rest of us would not have so many alts if we also did not enjoy the lower content as well.
