Why is starting NPC now item triggered? You used to be able to find out that Siren L&L was started by searching bookcase in shop on dock. You can still find the L&L book there. You might as well remove the column if it must say nothing but item triggered for all L&L.

Lore and Legend: Starting NPC `Follow
You still do lore and legends by examining a book and reading it. Are you sure your not looting the fairy language quest items? You read the books and kill mobs until you get 3 updates. Then you have to study various items to finish it.

If you read the walk through at http://eq2.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?eq2quest=560 it says:
"This quest is initiated by reading the book "The Siren's Song". This book can be found on a bookshelf at +49.25, +1.52, +35.8 on the Enchanted Lands Docks. This is near Gimble Featherfinger. "
It's item triggered because you read the book to start it, and the book is an item.

Thank you. What I wanted to know was how to find out where item that triggers the quest is.
I understand now thanks to Calthine. I have to click on each of the quests in the listing here to find where the item is.
