I guess i've decided that i'm going to come back to eq2 and was wondering if all of the expansions come with the original eq2 or if they are just the expansions. If the original is included in the expansions, which expansion would you recommend? Thanks!

If you buy the boxed edition of Echoes of Faydwer it includes the original base game and all of the expansions; but, it is very rare and hard to find.

If you go to this website however and download it from Direct2Drive: http://www.direct2drive.com/4362/product/Buy-EverQuest-II:-All-In-One-Compilation-Download It will give you all the expansions and the base game.

Sad when a third party company can offer the digital download cheaper then SOE can. Actually I guess whats really sad is you can buy a boxed version cheaper then SOE's digital download (well I guess you save on tax?).

D2D is offering what SOE gave them :) SOE's Digital Download is *just* EoF, don't buy it.

The D2D and Boxed version are the same price. There's two box versions at a Fred Meyer in Fairbanks, Alaska....

That's good to know, last I'd checked they were out.

I used a credit card on D2D and was kicked into a manual processing cue. I was given a "ticket" and their customer service never responded to me over two days time. I don't understand how an online site can exist without instant credit card processing. I guess they miss the point that a download is for instant gratification (or as instant as the download takes). I had to cancel with D2D and go with Amazon snail mail to get the boxed set.
