Good morning, AllaK's - 9/6/07Follow

Good morning, happy campers.

Slow night. Still have the crafting itch. Filled several weaponsmithing order then cut over to my baby defiler for some more provisioning shenanigans.

Helped a pal finish off a couple of quests.

So how many of you have found yourself logging in just to play LoN? Have you set up play times? Guild groups? Started any player tournaments? The more I look at it the more I see it as a "gee whiz" as opposed to anything I'll be playing with any regularity, given the length of time it takes to complete games. But am I alone? Are any of you really getting into LoN? Let's hear about it.

HEy Stugein, I think you've got your date just a bit mixed up. =)

Logged on yesterday and got a guild group to go from start to finish with the Shiny Brass Halberd quests for my Berserker. That weapon looks awesome. Then continued to farm for the leather for the Dwarven Work Boots for about 3.5 hours, only saw 5 mature antelope and none of them dropped it.

I've been having a grand 'ol time lately :)

Been spending some quality time on my Dirge to push him up before RoK. Used up a slew of XP potions and pushed him to just shy of 69. Geared him up a bit, and even tested him out on an LoA raid. I did swap him out for one of my other toons on Vilucidae though. It was an oddball night and a lot of fun. For the opposite of normalcy, our raid DPS was *too* high for good control(we seriously lacked aggro reduction that night and had a crazy DPS class mix). Ended up rearranging people to *reduce* DPS lol. Removed the Fury from the mage group....camped out a Brigand and Dirge for another Tank and Healer etc, things like that...felt weird but was interesting lol.

Did a spate of crafting for guildies, and had good luck on the drops as well lately.

My guild's raid force is also getting stronger. Geared them up a bit and took out a couple new targets. People are learning new tricks and meshing well...coordination is improving too. Good times.

On another high note...besides our own Guild Raids, I roll with a Guild Raid Alliance another 2 nights a week. We cleared Freethinkers for the first time on night 1, and Clockwork Menace on the second. Pretty good job for a twice a week raid group, was very happy.

PS.....Stu, havent even looked at LoN and have no plans to soon either. I'm sure it's fun (though I hear a lot of negative feedback as well) but I just don't have time in-game for anything else. Guild is busy, life is busy....too many other in-game goals to work on. I'll probably setup some Guild tournaments etc but I doubt I'll be running them. I'll probably wait till I hear one of the officers is into it, then put him in charge of it hehe.
