Coming Back to EQ2Follow

#1 Sep 02 2007 at 2:55 PM Rating: Decent
Greetings all! I just have a quick question for everyone. I am An EQ1 veteran and i played EQ2 for a short while about a year ago. I quit playing because my life got really busy and i had no time to play games, but now that my life has somewhat settled down, i was thinking of starting again. I was in love with EQ1, not so much EQ2. So my question is... Should i even bother coming back to EQ2? Would it be worth it, seeing as how i would have to start all over again? Should i try other games like Vanguard?... Thank you all for your time :)

Well if you try other games I would not suggest vanguard. The population lvls are really low there as the game kinda just crashed and burned after a couple months. Most likly because they released to early and had to many bugs and still didnt have all the content in.

Gotta hate those big wigs with there wallets that force a game to release early. I would rather wait get a final product then get something that should still be in beta for another 6 months.

I played EQ1 for quite some time before swithing to EQ2. I have pretty much played every MMO as it comes out. I would say EQ2 is between EQ1 and WoW. EQ1 was a slow grind, WOW was way to quick.

I think it'd be worth coming back to EQ2. The game has really developed over the last couple of years, both in design and in expansions.

Vanguard, eh, I'm thinking try it in about a year when SOE's had a chance to clean it up. They sure fine-tuned EQ2, I'm sure Vanguard will be well worth it when their team gets through with it.

I might try it again in a year. I do have a station pass so it wont cost me anything to check it out. Maybe after I hear about another server merge there to increase the population some.
