Paying $150 for you to talk to us about EQ2!Follow

#1 Aug 30 2007 at 10:48 AM Rating: Decent
We are making a documentary about MMOG's and are looking for stories about people whose real life has been influenced by their friends in WoW.

Whether your relationship with a fellow player in EQ2 turned into a real life romance or that player simply affected your real life in some other important way by giving you advice or just listening to your problems, we'd like to hear about it. Did you change jobs? Countries? Make an important business decision? Anything that changed your real life in a major way because of a conversation you had in game.

If you think you have a good story along these lines, send a couple sentence summary of it to:

WoWDocumentary@gmail.com

Be sure to include your email. If we think the story sounds interesting, we'll be in touch and will pay you a minimum of $150 to talk to us for an hour about it.

Thank you!

First thing that comes to my mind here is scam.
I might consider if this was further legitimized.

I'm going to leave this for the moment. Chances are its going to be one of those "games are evil and destory lives" documentaries, if anything. So do this at your own risk.

If you're looking for ways to make money from games.

All my sites are currently seeking authors to provide us with guides that we can make available to the public for free; you can get up to $30 per article depending on length, popularity of game, and usability within that game.

If you're interested go to http://www.thenoobschool.com or send your articles or information requests to thebusdriver@thenoobschool.com.

This guide amuses me: http://www.killerguides.com/guides/eq2/guide/everquest-2/woodworking

74 pages? $30.00? What a ripoff! Betcha the "Tricks of the trade: A legal way to cheat with power regeneration and pristine rates." Is min/maxing powerpool vs regen.

I couldn't write 74 pages on woodworking if I tried. Maybe if I filled a bunch of the middle pages with "blablabla blah BLAH blah blah."
