and it completly sucked! I guess I didn't pay too much attention to the description to what I was getting when I plopped down my Credit card and purchased the darn thing through their website. Must have missed the phrase "content will put your *** to sleep."

The articles were boring as hell. I glanced through it last night before bedtime and so nothing of any interest whatsoever. No tips. No good lore articles. No actual in game pictures. No raid zone information.

One article was about a gnoll run in antonica. Something about running past the gnolls to get to blackburrow. Fooking fascinating if you ask me.

there was some Kunark material but, again, nothing that really popped out as anything interesting.

There was an amazing thing though. Some guilds on the Kithicor Server actually purchased add space to recruit for their guild... I guess if you want to increase your roster, then this would be the best bet for your money, but who pays for this? Who actually buys adds to recruit for guilds?

Save your $15.00 and the postage. Not worth the envelop it was mailed in.

End of line.

When it comes to game magazines 3rd party is usually the best. A 3rd party publisher is going to be less biased and focus just as much on the bad as the good.

Well, I don't know if the guilds advertised actually paid... something in the opening section mentioned FREE and gave an email address...

It's slick. Eye candy. The Kunark article was interesting. The article about Soul Fire (in-game player run tavern) picqued my interest ... i'm creating a Freeportian on AB and heading over there to check it out. ButcherBlock doesn't really seem to have a large RP base (which is fine, it's all good)

But I won't lie... I mainly got the mag for the Beta offer. :)
