Coming back to EQII, Expansion QuestionFollow

#1 Aug 29 2007 at 11:38 AM Rating: Decent
Hi Everyone,

I am returning to EQII after a stint in WoW (big surprise), and have a question about the expansions. When I left EQII, I only had the core game, no expansions. I just purchased the EoF expansion from Amazon, which I understand contains the core plus the previous expansions.

My question is this. Since I still have the original game installed on my pc with an active key, is there going to be an issue trying to register the expansions from EoF? I don't know if the EoF package contains one key or individual keys for each expansion.

Any info you could provide is appreciated.

Thanks

no there will be no problem. there is only one key for EoF, and it will activate any thing you don't already have activated (core game + 3 expansions if first time buyer, only 1 expansion if only need EoF, only the 3 expansions if only have the core game... you get the idea). SOE is actually pretty on the ball with the CD Key.

Thanks Qwash,

That's what I was hoping for.

I reactivated my account about a week ago (Unrest Server), and I'm impressed with the progress SOE has made with this game. I'm just messing around with race/class combos right now. I was a long time EQ1 player and it's so nice to set foot back in familiar lands.
