Monk or Bruiser frogloks are pretty good!

Aren't they like big templars and paladins?
That might just be form a lore standpoint tho.

Leah, from a lore standpoint frogs tend to be paladins and sometimes clerics of Marr.

sleeperaaa - For your purposes, don't try to find a "best" froglok class. There is no such thing just as there is no best class for any race. The racial differences in everything except for aesthetics are so minor and so swiftly evened out with gear later down the line that you really are better off just choosing what you want to play as opposed to trying to figure out any sort of optimal class for your chosen race.

ok ic what your saying but most people who play frogs go paladin?

I was just saying that most npc frogs are pallys and templars.

If you want to do role playing then maybe a holy god going class would be good for frogs cause thats what they are known for.

To be honest I rarely ever see a player froglok s I can't relay say on that matter.
The only real big thing about races is going fay or asari for the safe fall bonus. Like mentioned above classes and race combos don't really matter.

Frogloks get a great underwater vision. Sounds pretty lame, especially compared to the feather fall ability of a Fae, but it comes in handy for underwater quests. (and ultimately, there are a lot of those)

Seriously sleeperaaa, try a Monk. Sure, Frogloks tend to be Paladins, true followers of Marr, but Monks are more fun to play! (imo naturally)

I run my froggie as a cleric but that is because I like to play a healer and frogs a cool. Mainly just choose the class you would be interested in playing. Your only constraint should be evil vs good unless you plan on doing the betrayal quests.

IF you want to play a interesting Froglok make one and then do the betrayal quest.

I seriously thought about making a Ogre betray into a Paladin but betrayal is annoying since they changed it(IMO). I would have much rather killed 500 gnolls and a handful of named instead of doing those stupid faction quests over and over again that you gotta do now.

Ironically, in early EQ1, pre-Kunark, Frogloks had equal numbers of Necromancers and Paladins (one of each, in Upper Guk), and their 'good faction' (not aggoing on Dwarves in particular) was stated to be an error and fixed later by the Devs, to make them aggro to all races, good or evil. By Kunark, they had tons of Shadow Knights as well. But, over the centuries, Frogloks have renounced their ties to evil and become a good race. There was an Ogre Paladin in EQ1 as well, but apparently that single Ogre didn't manage to convert his entire race to good the way that single Froglok Paladin inspired his people to give up the way of the Shadow Knight. :)

From a stats and racial abilities standpoint, Frogloks seem to make pretty good Rangers and Bards.
