For me personally there has been no regrets, I am glad I did it as I am loving my alt Tailor. I did find that it seemed slower to level after I respec because of the way I like level. I like to level the lower levels by making each thing once to get that bonus exp. I find I can get to about level 16 /ish doing just that. When I changed my trade skill class on an alt, and I tried to level her the way I normally do, it didnt work as well. I figure the reason is after you respec you start at level 10 so your low level recipe's start out green. When you start a char fresh those low level recipe's do not start out green to you LOL. So I dont regret it , I mean there does have to be some kind of down side to making the change and if thats it , it isnt so bad at all.

Mind you I didnt have any really rare recipe's, or much to loose when I tried it. It does wipe everything out, so if you spent big $$ for a recipe then maybe you wouldnt want to do this. My big point is having fun, so if I am not enjoying a trade skill class its worth it to me to swich, I mean if I dont have fun I am not gonna use that rare recipe anyway LOL. I had alts I had made just to craft as I picked the wrong class (for me) way back when so I couldnt enjoy trade skills with my main. That kinda sucked as getting a level 8 hunting class into DFC to craft Blood armor would not be something I would really want to try and do.

Anyway I did it , I loved it and I would do it again
