Thinking of returning to EQ2.Follow

#1 Aug 18 2007 at 5:27 PM Rating: Decent
I began with EQ2 three days after its release, and made it to approximately level 25/27 (or somesuch) before being completely outleveled by the friends I played with, and moving over to WoW. Recently I've become bored with the childish fanbase and playstyle of WoW and am thinking of returning to EQ2, but I have a few questions first.

-I played EQ2 before any expansions came out, and was wondering- has anything been extremely changed in the gameplay (besides the tradeskill revemp [squeeee!])?

-Is the soloability approximately the same as it was back then?

-Are there still a decent number of lower level players, or is mentoring a good way to go nowadays? (I didn't have any experience with this system, so I'm not sure whether it has ever been viable or not, heh.)

And last, does Echoes of Faydwer include any of the Adventure Packs, and/or will Rise of Kunark?

Thanks for any information.

Theres people at all levels usually, and many people to mentor down to get achievement points and do low level quests and kill low leveled names, This was added in expansions.

EoF Includes original game and all expansions but no adventure packs.

your information is a little outdated, Sefana. SOE added the original game and all expansions into the digital download of EoF about a month or so ago. but neither the retail nor digital download will contain the adventure packs.

Just for clarity:

Buying EoF from the Station store gets you just EoF.
Buying Eof rrom D2D gets you all the expansions too.

And neither have the adventure packs.
