Hi All,

Just starting the game and I am wanting to be a jeweler. What should I focus on gathering while I am out in the wild?

Thanks

The politically correct answer is "everything", because it helps keep the nodes spawning nicely in the olde worlde.

But let's see... I think y'all need everything but foodstuffs. Do jewelers use wood? I'll have to ask hubby when he gets home.

For sure:

roots
soft metals
gems
some (not many) pelts/hide
ore
loam

Aye, you should indeed harvest all materials not only because it keeps the things you need spawnin, but rares will sell for quite a bit at the broker especially at higher lvls.

If memory serves (and it's some time since I did any jewellery) you will need mainly loam & roots. You will also need some soft rock harvests & a few pelts. I think about the only things you don't need are ore & wood.

Most tradeskills need some of most harvests now. Pretty much all of them require loads of roots. I think it's only really woodworkers & scribes that use wood. Best to gather at least a stack of everything & see what you use.
