Logged in to see 2 people on in my guild. Promptly logged out. My guild is wasting away to nothing. Not in the mood to level my alts. I have decided that I really dont want to go through the content again. Therefore I am stuck with a level 70 pally, 64 aa's, some fabled stuff, no raids on the horizon, and much of the soloable quests knocked out.

Did I mention I am in a bad mood this morning?

Promptly downloaded 6 months worth of patches for WoW and dinged 42 on my Undead Warlock.

I OVERSLEPT!

Not a ton went down last night. Logged in and cheaked my non-existent broker sales. Loaded up on Bonemire writs and went on a quick solo tear through the zone before punching out for bed. Good times.

Guild went and farmed Tarinax last night. I reworked my spec on my monk trying to get as high DPS as I could, seeing as our MT is now back (actually being played by our GL for the time being) but I was unhappy with the outcome. I'll need to play around some more. My goal is to out DPS my husbands bruiser, or at least get closer to him on the parser.

Afterwards we went to the throne of New Tunaria and cleared the first room. More to check it out than anything for the time being. Once we were done, we got silly and decided to see how far we could train into the castle for discovery. I think one person made it to the staircase before dying a horrible death. I got to the foot of the stairs, even with Tsunami on. Damn lvl 75x4 epics!!! We died multiple, horrible deaths doing this, going solo, then working together as a team, then just zerging the place. Much laughter ensued. Many repair bills grew steadily as well. Ahh well, it was worth the chuckles.

I logged on sort of late, so I didn't get to hear about any horrible training deaths. I set to work grinding out some of my remaining quests in the Commonlands and dinged 25. Then I saw some necro OOC'ing a request for help killing General Drull for the "Brining the Light" quest.

I sent him a tell and told him I would lend a hand, and he asked if I had the quest. I did, but I had only gotten it and completed the first step, setting it aside with the mindset that since it was a heritage quest and likely more difficult than normal I would wait till it was almost greyed out to work on it. Well the necro said he'd run me around to get me caught up while we looked for more folks, so that's what we did.

When we got me all caught up, a guildie asked if anyone needed help with anything, and I asked if he'd like to help us with General Drull. He said sure, and ran his 70 defiler and troub to us, mentored down and we entered the instance. I had no idea what to expect, and next thing I knew we were overrun with orcs. Long story short, we used some fancy tricks to beat down the orcs and the General, and returned to Cannix for the turn in.

I was shocked to receive two achievement points from the turn in, but what was cooler was that our quest dinged the guild to level 58. There was much wooting, although I scarcely understood what was going on.

Then I stood around chatting with my guildie, which was good, because I'm about 45 levels lower than most of the guild and it was cool to get to know someone other than DSD a bit.

It was a very fun night for me, and I can't wait to level up more and see what else EQII has to offer.

This concludes my essay.

Finally got my 57th achievement point with my monk. Not sure if I'll ever get to 100, perhaps with a few more expansions coming!

Spent two hours butchering brownies in Lesser Faydark to finish the L&L there, I ended up just buying the final part, the heart. I think I killed well over 100 of them. Going to try to wrap up my remaining four L&L's so my Master Rage spell is up to date.
