Adventures in Video EditingFollow

#1 Aug 08 2007 at 10:50 PM Rating: Good
So, here I sit waiting for the video I made to load up to the Zam server via Calthine.....

First I will warn you that it is long. Not nearly as long as it could be, but it took many swings on the chopping block to get it under 17 minutes. It's hard to believe that this is only the presentation portion. I'm almost afraid of the editing involved with the Q&A portion.

DISCLAIMER:
I'm not a pro at this. The video quality is not great. Part of it is my fault (as you can hear the the tripod making noise and my panning and focus can use help.) Some of it is not (as I can't afford a better camera, the lighting is poor, and the room is a soundman's worst nightmare. Add that to the fact that I am a total noob with the software I just got, and this will not win any rewards.

So, this is totally to bring a bit of FanFaire to those that didn't make it, and to inform about the upcoming expansion. I promise that I will try to get better.

Ya heh. I learned a couple days ago that video editing is not easy and very time consuming. Half the time going into encoding.
