Where do you get specialized advanced crafting books (ex. Advanced Carpentry Vol. 4)? The crafting trainer just has general texts available to all in the subclass (ex. Craftsman Essentials Vol. 4). Does the vendor have different texts for different subclasses (Scholar etc)? I assume that Carpentry texts may be available after level 20. Is that correct?

All Advanced books are drops (although in T6 you can also buy them with Court faction). If you're not an adventurer, check the broker.

Yes, there are books after 20. You'll be able to see T3 books on the trainer after you ding 20.
