Good morning, AllaK's - 8/2/07Follow

Good morning, happy campers.

Apologies for the lack of morning updates this week. I don't have a good excuse other than, "I bought Mario Strikers: Charged for the Wii and have been playing it offline and online like a madman for the last couple days". In fact, if any of you have it, hook up your FC and we'll play. 390948 734167

In lieu of an in-game update (frankly even if I weren't playing Strikers, GU#37 angered me a bit too much to play right now), a discussion question for the class: Do you believe that EQ2 has an over saturation of classes? Do you think that everyone is unique and has a place or do you think that dual-roles and similar skill sets have rendered some classes only marginally different than their cross-alignment counterparts?

How was your evening?

Well, recently bought a 90 day GTC and downloaded all of the updates. I need to head out and grab EoF. Been putzing around trying to remember how to use my level 38 Coercer.

In Zek, I think I have died 6 times over the last three days just looking around. Slowly have gotten back into my Coercer and have managed to make positive progress with my experince, almsot level 39.

Checked my cash and my house, have enough to purchase a AD III Charm for my level but that would be all my cash, so just decided to to stick with my lower level master version of Charm.

Still trying to decide on what to do....My crafting could use some work, other then that still unsure.

Good move. The quality of charm is always more important than the level of charm. Charm is one of those rare spells that if you have a master you do not upgrade it unless you can get a higher level master.

Been levelling up my Bruiser, he's at lvl 16 now. Not bad since I started him last Saturday.

With the lvl 12 leather armour set my guildmember created, and two weapons I bought of the AH (and putting all my Achievement points in strength), I've been fighting yellow mobs like they are nothing. Three or four blue mobs at the same time don't make me wonder if I'll survive, but rather if I'll have to use my heal this time or not. That'll change as I head out of Darklight Woods, but it's fun so far.

I'm starting to really like my bruiser, the damage done is pretty good. No invis though, that's quite a pity.

Read a debate similar to what you ask, one guy stated that it was silly that all races can be all classes. (not instantly for evil races, naturally) In particular that it is really silly to have someone the size of a butterfly being able to wear plate and tank raid mobs for instance.

He wanted a more 'realistic' approach, a point I can understand.

Ive been working on my Assassin when not raiding. currently level 59. Because of the latest nerf to SK's, and a friend of a friend rolling up an SK for raiding, im considering switching mains once the Assassin gets a couple more levels. The downside is that with this patch, they nerfed agro transfer as well. Im almost considering working my guardian up, and will mostliekly do that once my Assassin reaches raid status.
