So what is up with making the Lore Skeleton book a level 5 quest and placing the book in Stormhold? I'm assuming that's the only place a Freeport character can access (not the Faydark wherever that is). Someone made the comment on the lore page for this quest that the quest is tailored for your level. Dude, it's in Stormhold, which is not tailored for your level. Correct me if I'm wrong. Then there's the whole getting to Stormhold without dying a jillion times thing.
For the Orc Lore book (level 7), you walk to the Crossroads and click on a shield. What's up with the difference in difficulty getting the two books?

You can also acquire it from Kelethin or Darklight Woods. Stormhold isn't the only place to obtain the book. There are lowbie options.

Mind you, back in the day, things weren't quite that easy. We all did have to risk our limbs running to the Library in Stormhold!
Well, I mean, I just invissed as I'm a Monk and just ran through it all. But still, I'm certain others have had a hard time getting that book at a low lvl!
Going to have to look for that book in the DW, haven't really started checking on that info as yet.
So how do you travel to those other places as a low level? And how do you survive the journey there and back? I can't even make it from the Freeport gates to the docks without dying.
Chuckle, and there was a time when the world was new and no one really knew where anything was... learning to find the paths between creatures, accepting the one hit deaths because we knew we were trying to do something above our levels... ah well... it wasn't all good times, but we did survive them :)
Yeah, if you're careful and pay attention to your surroundings you can get to anywhere in Nek without getting aggro. At worst if you really, really don't think you can make the run, then save up the 60s and just buy a ticket to the dock then ride the boat to Butcher and then griffon across to GFay.

Bone Tower in SW corner of Darklight contains the book. Access granted through a level 21 quest in Darklight.
