Has anyone heard anything about any plans by SOE to port EQ2 to the PS3 or possibly develop an MMO for that console?
Nope. That is, haven't heard anything like that.

I haven't heard anything for SOE->PS3...but I did hear something about a MMORPG being in the works for the 360...can't remember which company though.
Age of Conan will be availible for the 360 and the PC.
I dunno if EQ2 would even work on a ps3 :P sure ps3 si good but i just dont think EQ2 is built for a console :P
I can almost guarantee that this will never happen. I remember talking about this at the Atlanta Fan Faire and I do believe we were all told that it would be nearly impossible to port EQ2 to the PS3. Unless something has changed I really doubt they have any plans to do such a thing.
