I am trying to transfer a character of the 19th level from a PVP to a PVE server.

I used this link here --> https://secure.station.sony.com/eq2ctservice/TransferOrder.m" title="https://login.station.sony.com/login/station/login.jsp?returnURL=https://secure.station.sony.com/eq2ctservice/TransferOrder.m" rel="external nofollow">https://login.station.sony.com/login/station/login.jsp?returnURL=https://secure.station.sony.com/eq2ctservice/TransferOrder.m

When I put in my server it says "No available characters".

Do you have to be a certain level before transfering?

Could someone give me the correct link to transfer? I know there is a 50.00USD fee and I am okay with that.

I'm not sure about this but I think I heard somewhere that you are not allowed to transfer characters between a pvp and non pvp server.

I hope that what you heard is wrong, otherwise I'll cry. Lol. In my last game you couldn't transfer from PVE to PVP but you could transfer from PVP to PVE. I hope this game is the same. I really really do. I just started the game almost a week ago but I am totally ready to pay for a transfer. Lol.

So you dropped down the list of servers and selected yours then clicked "Continue" at the bottom of the page and the next page did not list any characters? Are you certain you had the right server and were logged in to the proper account? I just tried it (not going through with the transfer, of course) and it listed all of my characters right away.

Just out of curiosity too though...if you've only been playing for a week or so, why not just re-roll a new character on the server that you want to be on? Seems odd to shell out $50 for a transfer for a week-old toon.

Yes I picked the right server and I still am getting: No characters are available for transfer from the server you selected.

Well I got to level 12 and I deleted my character because I didn't like her nose.

Then I got to level 7 and did it again because of the hair colour was a little too dark for me.

I probably spend close to 45 minutes deciding what my character is going to look like, log in check her out upclose and then log out and do it again until I am satisfied.

Now I am level 19 and profession skill of 13. I am very happy with my appearance and a friend I just met gave me money so I don't want to re-roll because I
finally got the looks down and the money is very nice.

I am a girl in RL so I would totally do this kind of thing. Lol. In WoW, I paid for 9 complete transfers, which are 25.00USD each, because a new server came out and I liked the name of it. -.-

I am crazy but I only picked PVP so I wasn't a "coward". On WoW I got that all the time since I was on a Normal server. I realized that WoW was made for PVP and that is how the story goes for that game. But now that I actually tried PVP on EQ2, I don't like it. I die maybe 60 times a day and when I see them coming I close my eyes and just take it. I am totally afraid of someone chasing me. I would do anything to transfer my Ninna. It drives me nutz. No matter what, I can't have any death relief in any zone because I am ganked at all times. I should have remembered back when I played EverQuest that I don't remember there being a PVP server then. Therefore, I would not be a "coward" going to PVE.

- Do you currently have any items for sale on the broker?

- Do you currently have an coin waiting to be picked up on the broker from previous sales?

If the answer to either of those questions is YES you may not show up on the list. If the answers are NO, then your only choice is really to call SOE support or use Support's Live Chat during business hours. There's no other reason you shouldn't see your characters if you are picking the correct server.

Yeah I did all that before I tried. I took everything off the Auction House and out of my mailbox. I must have to call Support once I figure out the number. What are business hours? It is PM2 here right now.

You guys were right. In EQ2 you are not even allowed to transfer from PVP to PVE. I disagree with that personally. Expecially since I haven't killed one person. I guess every game is different. I totally think if you can't move to PVE from PVP, that you should be able to transfer from PVP to PVE like most games, but, well, I'm wrong -.-

I guess I will buy myself a movie with my money instead ^ ^

I think that, unfortunately for you, it is a hard rule in place due to item availability and character toggles between rulesets. If it was simply a matter of PVP, I don't think that it would be an issue, but there are other differences that just player combat. For example, there are titles that you can earn on the PVP servers that cannot be earned on PVE servers. Additionally there are specific gear and rewards available through PVP servers that are not on PVE servers. I think it would take too many checks cause too many potential problems to move toons from one ruleset to another. Being so early in your character's career none of that probably applies to you, but thems the breaks.

In-game currency isn't /that/ difficult to come by, and you can do 1-19 in just 2 or 3 nights of casual playing. I say just reroll on a PVE server rather than throw in the towel. But to each their own. Keep us updated if you decide to stick with it.

An idea to preserve the appearence of the toon you have now: I believe (though i may be wrong as i've never gone there) there is a "barber" that will allow you to change your appearance.

If you can change everything and not just your hair, i would recommend taking screen shots of the current settings and when you roll your new toon, try to recreate as closely as posibble the current appearance settings.

Warning* this may not work at all but it's an idea.

Yeah my update sucks to say that I am going to stay on the PVP server. I have over 10p and my 40 percent mount from the new friend I met. BTW, WOW people aren't that nice. That was a huge change. My alt, who is level 12 and 9 Achievement points has his Master pet spell as well that I thought I found really cheap at 3p46g. I have been searching on the AH for it and that was the lowest I had ever seen in my few days. I just hope that one day they will reconsider letting PVP go to PVE if they don't have a rank or any items because I am sure even if I play for 1 year I won't have any of that stuff.

I have noticed the "Barber" next to the stables in Freeport. I was wondering what that does. ^ ^

I did notice that you said I managed to make level 19 in a matter of days casual playing.. I haven't slept
more than 4 in a half hours since I started the game. I have actually sat on the PC for more than a day straight. This is my game addiction and I hope to break it someday. Lol. I almost passed out on the keyboard but I guess that is normal for me. Soon I will sleep and get my body caught up. Did you know after days of no sleep you can easily forget the day and month? EverQrack has welcomed me with a very sharp, "Hello".
