Good morning, AllaK's - 7/23/07Follow

Good morning, happy campers.

Logged in my main and attempted to solo Nest. Didn't do so hot. I could clear everything but the nameds were juuuuust a hair too tough (I'd always get them to a sliver of red health left before they wax me). Either my gear isn't good enough or I'm doing something wrong, strategically.

Logged in my Defiler and took a trip with an exp group with an English impaired tank. Good tank, but it was like pulling teeth trying to get him to do what you wanted. After we cleared Klak`Anon we ran the Mines of Meldrath instance. I scored a nice new 1hcrushing weapon out of the deal and scored an AA. Good times.

Had a Ktok sighting.

How was your weekend?

Got bored with my level 25 SK. There is sometihng about being an evil characters that just doesn't float my boat. It may not even be the evil thing.. I actually think its Freeport. I can't get into that city for the life of me. It's really well done and has a great "evil" feel to it, especially when it rains, but something just doesn't jive. Unfamiliarity perhaps? Neriak is ok. Again, well done, but it just isn't my freindly home of Qeynos...

Logged my level 70 pally on and mentored a group in Cazic Thule. Interesting zone. The mobs are really close together and there are a ton of them. Mostly heriocs. I hadn't been there for ages and forgotten a lot about it. The Feerot and CT are two zones I avoided for the most part. Those zones just don't fit into the game IMHO.

Had someone try and coax me into tanking for a Mistmoore run. I got a little nervous and turned him down... Now I wish I tried it at least. Maybe next weekend!

I spent the whole weekend with my main (Templar) grinding out exp. I was able to get almost two levels and am just shy of 65. I am hoping to hit 70 next month so I can hit LABs.

I'm still waaaaay back on Riddle of the Vault. I just can't get myself motivated to pick it up and continue with it.

Riddle is when you start getting to the good pieces from Claymore. I was on that quest for a long time before i finally buckled down and dove back into the series.

got my inquis up to 30, and bloody close to 31. also managed to get into a group (FINALLY!!) on my SK, and dinged him 66, and half-way to 67, and got another AA. got the Ravasect Claymore from Den run. now the only reason to keep my Mana-fused Greatblade is because of the graphic, but even that may not be enough to keep it. Hell, even had the Kettleleader's Katana drop in nest after I won the Claymore.

well, hoping that I'm now on the back half of T7, it will be easier for me to get groups. just seems like no one wants a mid-T7 tank.

Overall, not gonna complain too much about the weekend. pretty good, IMHO.
