There have been a lot of changes to the game since I played some years ago. I see the classes have been renamed. Do you still have to specialize and talk to a trainer at levels 10 & 19? Thanks.

None of the classes have been renamed, not sure what you mean there.

In tradeskills, yes, you need to see a Crafting Trainer three times:

a) to become an Artisan at all
b) again at level 9 to declare your class, and
c) at level 19 to declare your subclass.

In Qeynos and Freeport the Crafting Trainers are outside all Tradeskill Instances; in Neriak and Kelethin they're near the major crafting area.

In Adventuring, you no longer need to choose classes and subclasses; you start right out at what used to be your subclass.
