Hi. I had downloaded the "free trial version" of the game and decided to buy it. I'm waiting for it to be shipped still but once it comes I am officially uninstalling WoW. I played the first EverQuest from 1999 March to 2005 May. From them on out I was a WoW addict until this month. Maybe I'm just a dork but I like the Fae. But I do have a question. I was taking screenshots but I am unaware of the location in my PC they are kept in. Can anyone help me out?

It's in your actual Everquest 2 folder, in a folder called screenshots. Maybe something like this: C:\Programmes\Everquest2\screenshots.

I'm at work so I can't check it, and I've installed the game on my D: drive so it'll be different from yours. If you use Microsoft's search tool and search
screenshots you should find the folder easily enough.

I guess the pix I took don't work or don't exist yet. Since it was only the "free trial version" I have been playing, I don't have an EverQuest2 folder. I'm curious, when the game gets here, I just ordered the orginal tin collector edition and I am going to have to wait a few more days longer for the expansion to arrive. I have created a fae so I won't be able to play that right away. Is it hard to transfer your characters from "Trial version" to original game? Am I going to get an error saying that the user name already exists? Has anyone else done this action before?

You should still be able to take a screenshot if that's all you want to do. Try [ctrl + printscreen] and then open up MS Paint (all programs/accessories/paint) and [ctrl + V] to paste it into Paint. See how that goes anyway.

I never played the trial so I can't comment on that, but if you had to select a server already, then you will already have a unique name for that server and I assume that character will be playable as soon as your EoF version turns up.

I did something simila . If you use the same account name and password to set up your permanat account as you used on your trial you should have the original charectors etc set up the same . good luck )

I am at work so this is off the top of my head but, I think it is
c:\program files\sony\everquest2\screenshots

I put a shorcut to the folder on my desktop by right clicking the screenshots and selecting "send to desktop">>"Create Shortcut" since I typically take a screenshot of orders that people give me for work or e-mail addresses instead of having to write them down and lose them immediately. ;)
