Help for returning player please...Follow

#1 Jul 15 2007 at 7:48 AM Rating: Decent
Hello everyone,
I started to play EQ2 when it first came out and eventually left the game before it's first expansion. I am looking to return, but have a question. I know the Echoes of faydwer includes all the other expansions, but is this only for a new account? If I take my old original EQ2 account and use a retail echoes key will I get all 3 expansions?
Thanks in advance...

You'll get everything without any problems; I did just that with the boxed EoF. Go for it!

Actually one more question....will doing that give me a free month like the original purchase (I am doubting this, but one less month to pay is always good =))?

Alas, the free month is only for a brand-new account.

Ok then I have a question to go along with this.

I have just installed the "All in One" into my computer and checked all three options for installments but I accidently, well, I ordered a Collector Edition as well but it hasn't arrived. Now, My account is up and running so I have successfully installed the "All in One". Because of that, should I not open the Collector Edition and try to
re'sell it? If I remove EQ2 and install just the CE first, original game only, and then put in the "All in One" and uncheck the installation of orginal and only do the expansions, will that work or not at all seeing that my log in name already had a product key.

Does this make any sense to you guys? ^ ^

The only reason you might want to install the Collector's Edition is for the in-games items; everything else came with EoF. If you really want those items there's no need to reinstall, just go to your account and add the Registration Key and *poof*, you're good to go.

Awesome. Thanks I will do so. Much easier than uninstalling and then coming back for patches downloads ^ ^
