Hi guys i just installed eq2 on my new puter, but when i sing in and try to download the pathc it keeps cancling it self, i'v hit the download button after it but it keeps cancling it self. Any help would be totaly awsome.

This is a known issue, it happened to me on my laptop. There are many solutions on the eq2 official forums, but they are down right now. One thing you can do is rename the eq2.exe file, then start the patcher through that. That worked for me, I renamed it eq2.exe.exe...hope that helps, if that doesn't work, check the froums.

not to sound stupid but i can sem to find that file. i know on my old computer iv sen but, this vista crap is werid and confussing.

would the exe file be the launcher?

I found the file it was the eq launcher and it did work am downloading the patch now and should be playing in about an hour. Thanks Atrum for the help. After a month from not playing (because of moveing)im itching to get back in the game.
