Black Screen Crash :: Free Realms

So I have been having the problem with pushing play, showing the black screen for a bit, then crashing. I tried the recomened step of deleting the EQ2_recent file, but this did not help. Short of buying a new graphics card is there anything else I can do? I did not think the graphics card was bad...the computer is a Dell DE051, with an INtel 82865G Graphics Controller. Should the game be able to run with this? Thanks!

hi i have the same prob i have the same card but i have a dimension 4600i and it does the same thing but the very first time i tried a message showed up and said somthing about the driver and that it was an unrecoverable fatal error and i have no idea wat a fatal error is ...... if someone can help me please do lol i really want this game

From my POV that card is waaaaay too low end to support this game.
you're going to need at least an ATI or Nvidia Card to play this game.

Ah, that I can help with. The EQ2 Supported Video Card list from the Knowledge Base.

Also note that EQ2 does NOT support DirectX 10. If you upgraded it you'll want to roll it back to DirectX 9.0c
